I Knew I Loved You - Savage Garden

"I Knew I Loved You"

Maybe it's intuition
But some things you just don't question
Like in your eyes
I see my future in an instant
and there it goes
I think I've found my best friend
I know that it might sound more than
a little crazy but I believe

I knew I loved you before I met you
I think I dreamed you into life
I knew I loved you before I met you
I have been waiting all my life

There's just no rhyme or reason
only this sense of completion
and in your eyes
I see the missing pieces
I'm searching for
I think I found my way home
I know that it might sound more than
a little crazy but I believe

I knew I loved you before I met you
I think I dreamed you into life
I knew I loved you before I met you
I have been waiting all my life

A thousand angels dance around you
I am complete now that I found you

So I have been hooked on this song for days, ever since I heard it on the radio one random afternoon. It was definitely a familiar song, but I didn't know the title or artist until recently. You can tell in an instant that it's a pop song from the 90's, but that's what I love about it - the simplicity of the melody and instrumentals that's a bit hard to find in mainstream music these days. It might come off as a bit cheesy and not all that unique in the way the chords progress, but for some reason this song has been on repeat for hours and hours at work and I just can't get enough of it.

I don't know... I just think the lyrics are so beautiful and heartwarming. I wonder if I'll be able to relate more when I realize in that special moment that I've found someone I truly want to spend the rest of my life with? Someone I know for sure that I love with all my heart, a feeling that exceeds beyond logic and reason. If such a thing even exists. I hope I'm not being too much of a hopeless romantic, but that's really what this song is turning me into! And it's not like I even like the voice of the singer - it's a bit too thin and high for my taste, but at the same time it's smooth and perfect for this particular track, and I couldn't think of any other voice that could sing it better. As for the music video... well, it's from the 90's, what can you say. :P

Anyway, I'm obsessed. Even if it's not playing on my phone or computer, I'll play the instrumentals in my head and hum it to myself while I'm walking and I'm sure no one else can hear. I can't get it out of my head, but I'm loving it! It keeps me feeling good throughout the day.

How to Karaoke in Korea: Step-By-Step Instructions

Korean/Japanese karaoke is completely different from the karaoke you might be accustomed to. For one thing, it's not done in a bar; it's an individual room you get to yourselves (the group you're with) so the singing is not done in public for everyone to see. It's popular among kids and teenagers as well as adults - so though we Koreans are used to singing sober, I've heard a lot of foreigners say they'd need to be tipsy at least, if they ever wanted to try such a thing. :D And of course, it's something you would never be able to do alone (though I have gone by myself a couple of times LOL). Now, if you can find a Korean who is willing to take you to karaoke, that's awesome. But what if you're with your friends visiting Korea, and you really want to go try, but you don't have anyone to guide you and you can't speak Korean? It would be a complete shame for you not to experience one of the ultimate Korean pastimes before you go! Even if you...

"Good Morning S" (굿모닝에스) Korean Laxative is Seriously Awesome

It's time for some dirty talk - literally dirty, as in poop. So constipation is something I've been dealing with since birth. My mom would tell me that when I was a baby, she had to dig out my poop with a cotton swab because it always seemed stuck halfway. While my brother would effortlessly shoot out copious amounts of poop that sometimes even clogged the toilet from its tremendous amounts and thickness; I'd sit for long, excruciating minutes, with my red little face scrunched up in pain, failing to do the same. I don't think it changed much as I grew older. Daily bowel movement, or even regular bowel movement, is not something I can relate to. I envy with a passion those lucky bastards who wake up every morning and can take a successful dump each time. Me, I'm always counting the last time I went to the bathroom; calculating, worrying, trying to find some sort of permanent solution. I've tried plenty of home remedies: sweet potatoes, all sorts of vegetable...

Brazilian Wax in Korea at [Beauty Friends Gangnam]

A girl's first bikini wax, let alone Brazilian, can be quite daunting. If you're well aware of the sensations from plucking your eyebrows, or have tried strip waxing on safer areas like the legs or arms, you would surely be intimidated by the mere thought of having that exact sharp and prickly pain brought upon your most intimate area, where the skin is much thinner and super sensitive. That being said, I have no idea what I was thinking when I went for the all-nude Brazilian wax instead of going for standard bikini on my first try. But anyhow, since I've got my first experience out of the way, it doesn't seem like such a big deal.
